Pest Control Technician

Job Description

As a Pest Control Technician at Global Pest Services, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and eliminating pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. You will apply treatments safely and effectively while educating customers on prevention strategies to maintain pest-free environments.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and entry points.
Develop and execute customized treatment plans to eliminate pests.
Safely handle and apply pesticides and other pest control products in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Communicate with customers to explain findings, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and report findings to the office.
Keep equipment and vehicles in good working condition and stocked with necessary supplies.
Stay up to date on pest control techniques, products, and certifications.

Key Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; pest control certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Willingness to complete required training and obtain state certifications if not already held.
